Hi I'm Bridie, the creator of Areum. 'Areum' in korean means beauty, which is what I primarily want this blog to be about. Basically a safe place to share my passion of beauty and makeup. 

 

I am currently a university student, studying Business / Arts. Majoring in International business/ International relations. One day I hope to work in the beauty industry.

My skincare journey however started younger than most, having had eczema as a child. Slowly but surely my fascination with skincare grew until I discovered Korean beauty (inspiring my university exchange to Seoul). I have tried and tested K-beauty and am a true believer. Now my love of beauty has evolved to clean beauty. In 2020, I got perioral dermatitis which is caused by a number of things. Whatever it was, I changed everything and started looking into cleaner beauty brands. Now that I have helped my skin recover from the dermatitis, I have combined love of Korean and clean beauty into my current routine.
